April in Queenstown

April is upon us which means Easter and School Holidays.  Summer has almost gone and the hillsides around The Wakatipu Basin are donning their best orange and gold rags for The Arrowtown Autumn Festival .  Autumn in the Central Otago region is truly a spectacle not to be missed and the area is jam packed full of activities for those visiting, be it with friends or with family.

The Arrowtown Autumn Festival runs  from April 20 to 25 and is not to be missed.  Where it’s the National Gold Panning Championships, the village scarecrow competition or just getting along to the outstanding opening parade, the Arrowtown Autumn festival has something for anyone visiting Queenstown.  For more information check out the festival website.

Returning to Queenstown after its very successful initial event, Queenstowns Night Noodle Markets will run from April 19 to 23 at the Queenstown Primary School Grounds. Experience the sights, sounds and flavours of Asia.  Last year over 50,000 noodle lovers attended the event, so expect delicious street-style food, exciting entertainment and the hustle and bustle of an authentic Asian Market.

So come and have a holiday with Queenstown Holiday Homes in one of our great homes or apartments during this beautiful time of the year
