 Although the shoulder season is fast approaching, Queenstown has several events that friends and family alike are sure to enjoy. We have a few properties still available for Easter weekend, so if you have been thinking of booking a holiday away,now is the time.

On March 10 for one day only the pristine trails of The Motatapu welcomes thousands of all comers to experience one of New Zealands favorite off-road sporting events. Set in the stunning Wanaka to Queenstown high country, you’ll race through the most awe-inspiring high-country terrain in New Zealand , with five different event to choose form (Mountain biking,Triathlon,and 3 different running distances) depending on how far you want to push yourself. Even if you don’t feel like joining in, make sure you get down to the finish line in Arrowtown to cheer on the competitors.

Award winning comedians Nick Rado are coming to Queenstown on the 16th of March with their Nation-Wide tour, Save The World. This is not a night of laughs to be missed. Rado and Kan have separate slots in the first half of the show, then come together in the second to solve problems suggested by the audience. And if the audience doesn’t come up with enough burning issues of the day, they’ll offer their own! They guarantee the world won’t end during the show.  This is sure to be a laugh and a half, so make sure you get your tickets as soon as possible.

Warbirds over Wanaka International Airshow 2018 is an aerial extravaganza over three days at Easter. It marks the 30th Anniversary of this iconic internationally renowned Airshow. This year the Warbirds are working on recreating some of the most popular acts of the past three decades. Join them for what promises to be a very special weekend, with over 80 aircraft flying, static and sport aircraft displays. Food and trade stalls and many other ground exhibits for the aviation buff or family looking for a special day out. Expect something special in the air and on the ground, if you haven’t been to this before, it is not to be missed.
