Bring out your pens and dust off your dreams of writing that screenplay., because this year Queenstown is hosting it’s first ever Writers Festival. What was just an idea floating around a group of friends, May 2018, they decided that Queenstown needed its own Writers and Readers Festival. A committee was formed and after many months of planning The Queenstown Writers & Readers Festival will take place on November 9 and 10. The Writers Festival is a chance to bring writers and readers together to celebrate the written word in many forms, novelist, poets, childrens writers and non-fiction writers will share their stories with local audience during this inaugural festival. Workshops for aspiring writers are also offered.  So if you are on holiday and you find that mountain inspiration, check out the website and head along to one of the workshops offered .

We still have availability for your summer holiday in Queenstown in December, January and February. From all of us here a Queenstown Holiday Homes, we wish you a happy summer and safe travels wherever they take you.
